Dentures Cost
At Yukon Dentistry, we follow the Yukon Dental Association Fee Guide of 2024:
- Partial dentures: $2,100 (per denture)
- Full dentures: $2,100 (per denture)
- Immediate dentures: $2,250 (per denture)
If you have dental insurance, we can bill your insurance company directly. Patients are only responsible for what their insurance does not cover.
Dentures Candidacy
In general, most patients with extensive tooth loss are good candidates for dentures. However, our Yukon Dentistry team is looking for:
- Healthy gums
- Sufficient jaw bone density to support your appliance
- Cavity-free and healthy remaining teeth
Good candidates should also be committed to caring for their dentures and oral health on a daily basis. Additionally, candidates should consider the added cost of dentures upkeep, like adhesives and cleansers.
The Dentures Process
At Yukon Dentistry, it is our pleasure to offer free dentures consultations for new and existing patients. During your consultation, our skilled team will help you determine which restorative appliance is best for your oral health, appearance, and budget.
Next, we will take impressions of your mouth to send to our dental lab. Our dental lab will use your oral impressions, cutting-edge technology, and high-grade materials to fabricate your personalized dentures.
After our dental lab completes your custom-made dentures, we’ll invite you to come back to our clinic for a fitting. At this appointment, our team will make sure your dentures feel comfortable and meet your expectations.
Once you and our dental team are happy with your dentures, you are free to take your new appliance home. If your dentures stop fitting properly or get damaged, then let us know. We can adjust and repair dentures so you can keep smiling, eating, and speaking with confidence.
Dentures Lifespan
Most patients can expect to enjoy their dentures for 5 to 10 years. However, properly caring for your dentures could extend the life of your appliance for years.
Caring for Your Dentures
Caring for removable dentures is crucial for your oral health. Proper daily care includes:
- Rinsing dentures after eating to remove food particles
- Brushing dentures with a non-abrasive toothpaste and soft-bristled brush at least once a day
- Storing dentures in water or a dentist-approved denture cleanser
overnight
You should also schedule regular dental checkups and cleanings to keep you, your mouth, and your dentures functioning properly.
